Joining Us On Sundays
Sunday Worship
Our Sunday routine begins with a short time of prayer from 9.45-10.00 am in the Cairns Room, located in our church halls.
Our service of worship then begins at 10.30 am in our historic church building.
Though our setting is traditional, our congregation reflects more and more the cultural diversity that so enriches this part of Belfast, with people of different ages and backgrounds gathering to worship together in unity.
We aspire to reflect this diversity in our worship, with a blend of traditional and contemporary worship from the breadth of the Christian tradition. Join us on any given Sunday and you will enjoy reflective music led by our choir, as well more contemporary worship led by our praise band.
Our children’s ministry is vibrant and growing. Sunday School (P1-P5) and Sunday Club (P6-Y9) takes place during the service each week, with children leaving for activities after the children’s talk.
Young people in Y10 and above stay in for the sermon and then leave for Take Away, which provides an opportunity to discuss the sermon and what they might “take away” with them for the week ahead.
While our service ends at 11.30, most people stay for a hot drink and a chat in the church halls. In fact, it’s not unusual to find some of us still chatting at 1 pm!
