The Church supports Clare Orr’s bible translation work in Senegal, West Africa. Clare joined Wycliffe Bible Translators UK in 2013. Since 2014 she has lived in Senegal where she works with their partner SIL Senegal, managing language and literacy projects throughout the country. She married Sébastien Diédhiou (Séba) in 2017. They have a son and a daughter – Francis who was born in 2019 and Adele who was born in 2022. In February 2022 Séba took on the role of manager for SIL Senegal’s main office. Prior to that they lived in Ziguinchor in the south of the country, but they now live in Thiès which is near the capital Dakar.
