This group is open to women in the congregation. Asante is the Swahili word for thankful. We are thankful for the many years that we have grown together within the family of our church, thankful for the fellowship and love that has been shared and thankful for the support and friendship given and received over the years.
The Asanté group meets informally once a month, usually on a Tuesday evening at 8pm in the Megaw Room.
Some form of activity is arranged, whether a guest speaker, a craft workshop or an outing.
These are very relaxed evenings allowing for social chat which has been missing in recent times.
