ANNOUNCEMENTS
A SERVICE of THANKSGIVING and REMEMBERING for those who have died will be held at 6.00 pm tonight. This service is open to anyone who has lost a loved one, whether in the past year or longer ago. Join us for this time of reflection and remembering, as we give quiet thanks for those who have gone before us.
ASANTE Tuesday 3rd December at 8pm in the Megaw Room. We are looking forward to hearing about life in Hong Kong through the experiences of mother and daughter, Yvonne Chan and Rebecca Li, our new Church members. Come along if you would like to hear their stories – everyone is very welcome.
LUNCHTIME LITURGY Our next Liturgy for Advent will be on Wednesday 4 December, from 1.00-1.20 pm. An oasis of quiet reflection, music and guided prayer, with refreshments after.
Our CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTS SWITCH ON will be at 6.00 pm on Thursday 5 December.
Kick off the festive season with some carol singing, warm refreshments and even a visit from Santa Claus!
BELFAST CITY MISSION – Christmas Gift Appeal!
On Sunday 8 December there will be an opportunity to donate gifts to the BCM Christmas Appeal. Please pace gifts beneath the tree at the front of the church before the start of the morning service. Gift suggestions (unwrapped please) are as follows: selection boxes; tins of sweets; boxes of biscuits; monetary gifts (gift cards, supermarket vouchers, toy stores); groceries (non-perishable).
In addition, all loose cash placed in the offering plate on that Sunday will be donated to Belfast City Mission. If you wish to gift aid your donation, please place in an envelope marked “Belfast City Mission” and with your name and address.
The ORMEAU CHURCHES TOGETHER COMMUNITY CAROL SERVICE will be hosted in our own church next Sunday afternoon, 8 December, at 3.00 pm. Join with friends from St. Jude’s Parish, Village Church, Holy Rosary Parish, Cornerstone Methodist and Cooke Church for this annual service.

PW present a concert with Ruth Jennings and friends at 7.30 pm on Friday 13 December. Tickets £15; speak to a PW member for tickets.
