1 耶和華我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美，你將你的榮耀彰顯於天！
2 你因敵人的緣故，從嬰孩和吃奶的口中建立了能力，使仇敵和報仇的閉口無言。
3 我觀看你指頭所造的天，並你所陳設的月亮星宿，
4 便說：「人算什麼，你竟顧念他？世人算什麼，你竟眷顧他？

當以基督的心為心
所以，在基督裡若有什麼勸勉，愛心有什麼安慰，聖靈有什麼交通，心中有什麼慈悲憐憫， 2 你們就要意念相同，愛心相同，有一樣的心思，有一樣的意念，使我的喜樂可以滿足。 3 凡事不可結黨，不可貪圖虛浮的榮耀，只要存心謙卑，各人看別人比自己強。 4 各人不要單顧自己的事，也要顧別人的事。 5 你們當以基督耶穌的心為心。 6 他本有神的形象，不以自己與神同等為強奪的， 7 反倒虛己，取了奴僕的形象，成為人的樣式； 8 既有人的樣子，就自己卑微，存心順服以至於死，且死在十字架上。
無不口稱耶穌為主
9 所以神將他升為至高，又賜給他那超乎萬名之上的名， 10 叫一切在天上的、地上的和地底下的，因耶穌的名無不屈膝， 11 無不口稱耶穌基督為主，使榮耀歸於父神。

PICNIC after today’s Service
We’ve invited the families of the children who attended our Holiday Bible Club to stay for a ‘bring your own’ picnic after the service. Please join us – there will be free ice-cream for everyone, served by our friendly ice-cream van man.
PIZZA NIGHTS
Our next Pizza Night will be on Wednesday 10 July from 5.30 – 7.30 pm.
A lot of volunteers are required so if you can help, please speak to Debbie, Allison or Marj.
NEWTOWNBREDA CHOIR NEEDS YOU 🎹🎼
As you will have noticed, the choir is rather depleted now, so we need some new members.
Over the holidays when members are away it becomes even more difficult. There are no anthems during the summer so it is simply to lead the hymns. Please come and help us. Also consider joining to the choir in September. We do try to make a joyful noise and we can guarantee that you will be warmly welcomed.
Please speak to Deidre, Barbara, or any member of the choir.
ANNUAL CHURCH FÊTE Saturday 28 September 2024
We plan to hold the autumn fête this year on Saturday 28 September 2024. So we are asking you to ‘clear out your clutter’ and donate pre-loved items to the fête. The annual fête hosts stalls with lots of pre-loved items, large and small, cakes and other treats along with outdoor activities for our younger visitors. There will also be the usual treat of a lovely afternoon tea. We are hoping for a good team of volunteers to help with the many aspects of the day.
Whether you can help donate goods, make jam or cakes, assist with set up, or help on the day, the opportunities are wide and varied. We hope to be able to start gathering donations soon……….so please use this as an opportunity to declutter the house, the garage and the garden shed. You can leave your donations on the stage of the St John’s Hall or if you need help with bringing your donations to the church please contact Heather or Austin on 07751 574964.
Let your friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues know of the opportunity to donate goods and within reason, we can accept most items, even small items of furniture. We can’t accept electrical goods. More information will be issued nearer the time but please put the date in your diary and it will be a great opportunity to meet up and spend time with friends.
