In Other Words has been shortlisted for funding from the Co-op Community Fund.
In Other Words is L’Arche Belfast’s Art Project. This means that we are one of three causes who will receive some funding from this initiative. People who are members of the Co-op can vote for their favourite cause. The more votes our charity gets the more funding we will receive. With enough votes we could benefit from funding of up to £2,000!
If you have a membership card of the Co-op, we are asking you to consider voting for us! Simply go online and select your chosen cause.
In Other Words is a project which supports local adults with learning disability to express themselves creatively. We provide a safe and welcoming space for people, regardless of communication limitations, differences in language or social constraints to explore their own creative power. We support people to exhibit and showcase their works and we work closely with each individual to develop their artistic skills and individual styles. Please spread the word and help us to boost this important project!
